Goodluck India Limited has entered into a strategic tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BrahMos Aerospace Thiruvananthapuram Ltd (BATL) and Axiscades Technologies Ltd to jointly participate in the Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) programme.

The agreement, signed on September 30, 2025, enables the consortium to bid for the Expression of Interest (EoI) floated by the Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). The initiative is a step forward in India’s push for indigenous defence manufacturing under the government’s Atmanirbhar Bharat vision.

The AMCA, a fifth-generation stealth fighter aircraft being developed by ADA, will feature advanced avionics, super-cruise capability, internal weapons bays, and state-of-the-art electronic warfare systems. The collaboration is expected to leverage the combined strengths of Goodluck India in defence-grade engineering, BATL’s aerospace expertise, and Axiscades’ systems integration capabilities to contribute to India’s aerospace self-reliance.

Mahesh Chandra Garg, Chairman of Goodluck India Limited, said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to innovation, national security, and technological sovereignty. He added that the AMCA project represents more than an aircraft—it symbolizes India’s pursuit of strategic autonomy in defence.
