Full Article: ITI Limited, India’s first public sector undertaking established post-independence and a leading telecom manufacturing company, has been empaneled by Guj Info Petro Limited (GIPL) as a System Integrator for two major IT implementation projects.

The empanelment covers the rollout of advanced IT infrastructure and the establishment of a Cyber Security Operation Centre (SOC) at GIPL’s Data Center in Infocity, Gandhinagar. The engagement, valued at approximately ₹110 crore, will be valid for 36 months from the date of receiving the Letter of Intent.

Under the agreement, ITI Limited will oversee large-scale IT infrastructure deployment across multiple projects and set up a state-of-the-art SOC to monitor, manage, and safeguard GIPL’s digital ecosystem. The initiative is expected to strengthen Gujarat’s digital backbone, ensuring secure and reliable services for government and enterprise clients.

The company emphasized that the projects will enhance cyber risk monitoring and management across the state while contributing to a secure and connected governance framework.

Commenting on the development, ITI Limited Chairman and Managing Director, Rajesh Rai, stated that the empanelment represents an important milestone, particularly as the company ventures into the cyber security SOC segment. He noted that the collaboration reaffirms ITI’s role as a trusted IT solutions provider and aligns with its commitment to deliver cost-effective, advanced technology solutions.

ITI Limited is already executing projects worth over ₹1,200 crore in Gujarat, including broadband connectivity to 4,271 Gram Panchayats under the GUJNET project and modernization initiatives with the Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC).
