The order, awarded by the Combat Aircraft System Development and Integration Centre (CASDIC), involves the prototype development of 10 ECU units for the aircraft’s cooling system. Following successful development, the deal is expected to lead to a production order of nearly 600 units over five years, with an estimated value of ₹150 crore.
Commenting on the development, C. Manikandan, CEO of Mistral Solutions, said the project underscores the company’s ability to deliver advanced, indigenous technologies aligned with the modernization requirements of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and the Indian Air Force (IAF).
