Z-Tech (India) Limited has secured a significant order from Nagar Nigam Mathura-Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh, for the design, engineering, and development of a large-scale Waste to Wonder Park named Krishna-Lok Park. The project marks the company’s largest undertaking in this category in terms of both value and size, strengthening its presence in sustainable infrastructure and thematic development projects.
The project carries an estimated capital expenditure of ₹19.01 crore, excluding GST, and will be implemented under a revenue-sharing model spanning 20 years. The development will be spread across approximately 34 acres of land, making it one of the largest waste-to-wonder thematic parks in the region.
Under the approved funding structure, Nagar Nigam Mathura-Vrindavan will finance about 90% of the project cost, while Z-Tech (India) Limited will contribute the remaining 10%. The collaboration represents a public-private partnership aimed at promoting sustainable urban development and tourism growth.
Krishna-Lok Park is designed to transform underutilized land into a cultural and spiritual destination dedicated to Lord Krishna. The park will showcase interactive exhibits, artistic installations, and immersive experiences depicting key episodes from Krishna’s life, offering visitors a blend of cultural heritage and modern thematic design.
A key highlight of the project is the reuse of discarded municipal materials such as vehicles, machinery, metal scrap, construction waste, plastic items, and other unusable assets. These materials will be creatively repurposed into installations and structural elements, promoting circular economy practices, environmental awareness, and responsible waste management.
The initiative is expected to enhance tourism potential in the Mathura-Vrindavan region while supporting eco-friendly urban beautification. By combining mythology, art, and sustainability, the project aims to create a unique tourism and cultural hub.
Commenting on the development, the company’s management stated that the order reflects Z-Tech’s expertise in transforming waste into meaningful public assets through engineering innovation and sustainable practices, reinforcing its commitment to environmental stewardship.
