Park Medi World Announces ₹177 Crore Acquisition of The Medicity Hospital in Rudrapur

Park Medi World Limited has approved the acquisition of V3 Healthcare Private Limited, the operator of The Medicity Hospital in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand, in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately ₹177 crore. The acquisition forms part of the healthcare group’s expansion strategy aimed at strengthening its presence across North India.

The company stated that the transaction would be executed in two phases. Park Medi World plans to acquire an 80% stake in V3 Healthcare by August 31, 2026, while the remaining 20% stake is expected to be acquired after March 31, 2030. The deal does not qualify as a related-party transaction.

The acquisition will provide Park Group with its first operational presence in Uttarakhand and expand its footprint into a sixth state. The company stated that the move aligns with its strategy of deploying capital in high-potential and underserved healthcare markets while generating operational synergies and economies of scale.

The Medicity Hospital, located in Rudrapur in Uttarakhand’s Kumaon region, is a multi-super speciality healthcare facility with a capacity of 330 beds. The hospital is among the region’s NABH-accredited institutions and offers more than 20 medical specialties, including cardiac sciences, neurosurgery, oncology, nephrology, orthopedics, gastroenterology, and women’s healthcare services.

V3 Healthcare reported an unaudited turnover of ₹55.74 crore in FY2025-26, compared with ₹49.04 crore in FY2024-25 and ₹42.46 crore in FY2023-24, indicating growth over the last three financial years.

Park Group currently operates 16 hospitals with a combined capacity of 3,960 beds. The company is also integrating four additional hospitals that are expected to add another 1,500 beds to its network. Following these additions, total capacity is projected to reach 5,790 beds by March 2028.
