Hyderabad-based Sigma Advanced Systems Limited has announced the acquisition of 100% equity stake in UK-based Bromford Precision Solutions Limited for approximately GBP 11.89 million (around ₹153 crore). The acquisition is aimed at expanding the company’s global aerospace and defence manufacturing capabilities and strengthening its presence in the Rolls-Royce supply chain.

The transaction, which is subject to customary closing conditions, is expected to be completed by the end of July 2026 or within six weeks of signing, according to the company’s regulatory filing. The acquisition has been structured as a cash consideration and values Bromford at an enterprise value multiple of approximately 4.6 times adjusted EBITDA (CY2026 estimate).

Strategic expansion in aerospace manufacturing

Sigma Advanced Systems said the acquisition aligns with its international growth strategy by adding advanced precision engineering capabilities in the United Kingdom. Bromford Precision Solutions is a specialist manufacturer of high-precision aero-engine rings and complex machined aerospace components.

The company operates from its manufacturing facility in Leicestershire, UK, and supplies specialised components such as compressor casings, ducts, brackets, lock plates and aero-engine rings to leading aerospace original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

Sigma stated that Bromford’s expertise complements its existing capabilities in manufacturing larger aerospace structures while expanding its product portfolio for global aerospace and power generation customers.
