Aimtron Electronics Limited announced that it has received the AS9100D certification, a globally recognized standard for quality management in aerospace, aviation and defense industries.
Along with this achievement, the company has also secured new defense and UAV orders, including projects from a Navratna PSU in defense communication and electronic warfare systems, as well as from leading Indian Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) solution providers. The development strengthens Aimtron’s position in India’s fast-growing defense and aerospace electronics ecosystem.
The AS9100D certification places Aimtron among a select group of Indian Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) companies that meet international quality and reliability standards. It also reinforces the company’s commitment to Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives through advanced engineering and precision manufacturing.
The certification provides Aimtron with access to premium defense and aerospace programs, enabling participation in Tier-1 OEM and long-cycle, high-margin contracts. These projects are expected to contribute to profitability and long-term growth, driven by higher realizations and stronger cash flow.
In addition, Aimtron’s new greenfield facility, equipped with expanded SMT lines, Box Build, and Original Design Manufacturing (ODM) capabilities, further strengthens its role as a comprehensive design-to-delivery partner for mission-critical industries.
