Ashoka Buildcon Limited has received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from the Central Housing and Planning Authority (CHPA), Guyana, for a highway construction project in the South American nation.

According to the company’s regulatory filing dated June 26, 2026, the contract involves the construction of a four-lane highway from Versailles, West Bank Demerara, to Parika, East Bank Essequibo, Region No. 3, Lot 8.

The total contract value is GYD 7,455,455,867, equivalent to approximately USD 35.42 million. The project has been awarded on an item-rate basis.

Ashoka Buildcon said the project is scheduled to be completed within 20 months from the commencement of work.

The company stated that the contract has been awarded by the Central Housing and Planning Authority (CHPA), Guyana, which is an overseas government entity.

The latest order adds to Ashoka Buildcon’s portfolio of international infrastructure projects and strengthens its presence in overseas road construction.
