BSNL Partners with Blue Cloud Softech Solutions to Expand 5G FWA in Andhra Pradesh

Blue Cloud Softech Solutions Limited (BSE: 539607), a leading Indian technology company specializing in AI and cybersecurity-driven IT solutions, has been empaneled by Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) Andhra Pradesh Circle as a 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) System Integrator. The company has also been empaneled at the national level for establishing and maintaining customer private networks.

According to the official communication from BSNL-AP, the empanelment will remain valid for five years, from August 8, 2025, to August 7, 2030. Under the agreement dated July 31, 2025, Blue Cloud Softech Solutions will design, supply, deploy, operate, and maintain 5G infrastructure components, including Radio Access Network (RAN), Edge Core, radio equipment, and customer premises equipment (CPE).

BSNL will provide infrastructure support, including space, power, backhaul connectivity, and spectrum at its tower sites. The telecom operator will manage billing and customer services under the BSNL brand, while revenue will be shared between Blue Cloud and BSNL in a 70:30 ratio based on monthly business volumes.

This partnership is expected to strengthen enterprise connectivity and digital transformation across Andhra Pradesh and other parts of India. It enables Blue Cloud to deliver advanced 5G Internet Leased Line (ILL) services and offer value-added solutions such as Edge Micro Data Centers, Air Fiber, AI-driven analytics, AI-Healthcare, and Industry 4.0 integration.

BSNL-AP has directed Blue Cloud to conduct Proof of Concept (POC) trials in Mindi, Visakhapatnam, and Anakapalli. The company plans to begin service trials in the first week of November 2025. These trials will test the performance and reliability of Blue Cloud’s 5GFWA integration solutions under real-world network conditions.

Industry reports from TRAI and Statista suggest that India’s 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) market is projected to grow at a CAGR of over 35%, reaching an estimated $1.5 billion (₹12,500 crore) by 2027. The expansion of rural broadband, industrial connectivity, and smart city projects is expected to drive this growth, positioning Blue Cloud and BSNL at the forefront of India’s 5G transformation.
