G R Infraprojects Limited has received a Notification of Award (NoA) from NTPC Limited for an Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract related to the implementation of a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at the Mouda Super Thermal Power Station.
The total contract value stands at ₹413.37 crore, excluding GST. The project has been awarded on a domestic basis and reflects the company’s continued expansion in the power and energy infrastructure segment.
Under the terms of the contract, G R Infraprojects will undertake end-to-end execution of the project on an EPC basis. The scope of work includes design, engineering, supply, installation, and commissioning of the BESS system, along with comprehensive annual maintenance for the entire lifecycle of the system.
The company has indicated that the project is scheduled to be completed within 15 months from the appointed date, aligning with standard timelines for such infrastructure deployments.
The order is significant as it strengthens G R Infraprojects’ footprint in the fast-growing energy storage segment, which plays a crucial role in enhancing grid stability and supporting renewable energy integration across India.
