PVR INOX Limited has expanded its footprint in Telangana with the opening of a new 9-screen multiplex at Lakeshore Mall, Y-Junction, Kukatpally, Hyderabad. The launch strengthens the company’s presence in one of the city’s fast-growing commercial and residential zones and takes its total screen count in Hyderabad to 111 across 18 cinemas.
The newly opened multiplex houses nine auditoriums with a combined seating capacity of 1,476. It includes a PXL large-format screen equipped with 4K laser projection, Dolby Atmos immersive sound, and RealD 3D technology. The cinema also features a Playhouse auditorium designed for younger audiences, along with five screens offering Dolby Atmos and two screens supported by DTS:X immersive sound systems.
Located at Lakeshore Mall near the Balanagar Metro Station on Hyderabad’s Red Line, the multiplex is positioned in a high-footfall area with strong youth and working professional presence. The remaining auditoriums are designed to screen a wide mix of mainstream, regional, and international films, catering to varied audience preferences.
With this addition, PVR INOX continues to reinforce its position as India’s largest multiplex operator. The company currently operates 1,783 screens across 357 properties in 112 cities in India and Sri Lanka, aligning with its strategy of expanding premium cinema formats in key urban markets while enhancing the overall movie-going experience.
