Suzlon Energy Q1 FY27 Results: Revenue Rises 23% YoY to ₹3,819 Crore as Company Reports ₹305 Crore Net Profit

Suzlon Energy Ltd. reported a 23% year-on-year increase in consolidated revenue for the first quarter of FY27, supported by record quarterly deliveries, higher project execution, and new order wins. The renewable energy company posted revenue from operations of ₹3,819 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, compared with ₹3,117 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

The company reported a consolidated net profit of ₹305 crore in Q1 FY27, compared with ₹324 crore in Q1 FY26. EBITDA stood at ₹595 crore, while the EBITDA margin was 15.6%. Profit before tax (PBT) came in at ₹389 crore during the quarter.

Suzlon achieved its highest-ever first-quarter deliveries of 506 MW, up 14% year-on-year, while commissioned capacity reached 269 MW, more than doubling from the year-ago period.

Suzlon Energy Q1 FY27 Financial Performance

Suzlon’s consolidated revenue from operations rose to ₹3,819 crore, reflecting continued execution across wind energy projects. Total income stood at ₹3,863 crore.

The company reported EBITDA of ₹595 crore, compared with ₹599 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. EBITDA margin moderated to 15.6% from 19.2% in Q1 FY26.

Profit before tax was ₹389 crore, while profit after tax came in at ₹305 crore. Compared with the immediately preceding quarter (Q4 FY26), revenue and profitability declined due to the normal project execution cycle.

Suzlon Energy Record Deliveries and Order Book Growth

Suzlon delivered 506 MW during the quarter, marking the company’s highest-ever first-quarter delivery performance. Commissioning reached 269 MW, representing more than a two-fold increase over the previous year.

During Q1 FY27, the company added around 1 GW of new orders, including EPC orders from Tata Power and Waaree Group. Suzlon’s cumulative order book increased to approximately 6.1 GW, with 84% of orders coming from public sector undertakings (PSUs) and commercial & industrial (C&I) customers.

The EPC business continued to expand, accounting for 32% of the business mix compared with 22% in the corresponding quarter last year.

Suzlon Energy Manufacturing Expansion

Suzlon said it doubled the manufacturing capacity of its rotor blade facility in Jaisalmer from 630 MW to 1,260 MW by adding two new production lines.

The expanded facility now spans over 30 acres, is expected to support employment for more than 1,200 people, and is capable of manufacturing both S144 and S175 rotor blades.

Suzlon Energy New Product Launch and Business Expansion

The company introduced its S175 5 MW wind turbine platform in India and Europe and secured its first domestic order for the platform during the quarter.

Suzlon also continued implementing its “Suzlon 2.0” strategy, focused on four business verticals: Renewable Energy Technology, Renewable Energy Development Company (RE DevCo), Renewable Energy Projects, and Renewable Energy Asset Management Services (RE AMS).

The board also approved the incorporation of a wholly owned subsidiary in Singapore to strengthen the company’s international energy and operations & maintenance (O&M) business.

Suzlon Energy ESG and Corporate Developments

During the quarter, Suzlon received multiple sustainability and ESG recognitions. The company was featured in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2026, received an “Excellent” ESG rating from ESGRisk.ai in the electrical equipment industry, and won multiple awards for ESG leadership.

Suzlon also achieved Platinum-level Zero Waste to Landfill and Single-Use Plastic-Free certifications across its manufacturing facilities.
