VA Tech Wabag Limited, a leading Indian multinational in pure-play water technology, announced its first investment under the BLUE SEED initiative, marking a key milestone in promoting innovation-driven water solutions. The investment has been made in Bengaluru-based startup Nimble Vision, which specializes in developing indigenous DeepTech solutions for water conservation, automation, and real-time analytics.

The collaboration aims to accelerate India’s journey towards a self-reliant water technology ecosystem by combining Nimble Vision’s innovation in DeepTech with Wabag’s extensive global expertise in water management. Through this strategic partnership, both companies seek to drive digital transformation across water infrastructure and improve water accountability for municipalities, industries, and households.

According to the company, the investment will enable Nimble Vision to expand its IoT-based automation systems for water supply, treatment, and distribution networks. Additionally, the startup will focus on enhancing AI-driven predictive analytics to detect leakages, optimize energy usage, and ensure effective water quality management. It will also support the development of indigenous smart sensors and controllers aligned with the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.
