WeWork India Management Limited has announced a significant expansion of its flexible workspace portfolio, adding more than 700,000 square feet across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai. The move comes amid rising enterprise demand for managed office solutions in India’s fastest-growing business hubs.

The expansion spans five large-scale, long-term lease agreements and marks one of the company’s most substantial growth phases in recent years. The newly added capacity includes approximately 12,000 desks distributed across premium Grade A office buildings, strengthening WeWork India’s presence in key southern markets.

According to the company, the new facilities include WeWork TechVillage 8C, WeWork Vista Palladium, and WeWork Whitefield in Bengaluru, WeWork Phoenix H10 in Hyderabad, and WeWork Embassy Splendid in Chennai. These developments are strategically located within high-demand commercial districts, offering enhanced connectivity and access to business ecosystems.

The company stated that the partnerships have been structured through long-term commitments ranging between 10 to 20 years. This approach reflects a shift towards more stable, partnership-led growth models within the flexible workspace sector, aligning landlord and operator interests.

WeWork India collaborated with leading real estate developers and asset owners, including Embassy Office Parks, Madhu Ventures, Vista Spaces, and Inspira Builders, among others. The expansion highlights increasing collaboration between workspace operators and institutional landlords to cater to evolving enterprise requirements.

Karan Virwani, Managing Director and CEO of WeWork India, said that South India continues to be a central driver of enterprise workspace demand. He noted that Bengaluru remains a leading technology hub, Hyderabad is witnessing rapid growth across sectors, and Chennai is emerging as a key centre for global capability centres and financial services.

The company emphasized that its expansion is aligned with sustained enterprise demand, particularly from large corporations, global capability centres, and technology firms adopting flexible and hybrid workplace strategies. The new centres are designed to deliver premium infrastructure, scalable workspace solutions, and consistent user experience across locations.

WeWork India currently operates 37 centres across southern India, reinforcing its position as a major player in the country’s flexible workspace segment. The latest expansion is expected to further strengthen its market share and support long-term growth in India’s evolving office real estate landscape.
