Full Article: Tata Communications has entered into a strategic partnership with Cisco to enhance global eSIM and Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity solutions. The collaboration aims to simplify the way enterprises connect, manage, and scale their IoT deployments across multiple industries.

As businesses expand their use of IoT, challenges such as fragmented SIM hardware, complex device provisioning, and limited interoperability between networks have slowed growth and increased operational costs. The partnership between Tata Communications and Cisco seeks to address these barriers by integrating Tata Communications’ eSIM orchestration platform with Cisco’s IoT Control Center.

The platform currently supports more than 350 million eSIM operating systems across 200+ countries and territories. Cisco’s IoT Control Center, used by over 32,000 enterprises and supporting more than 270 million SIM-enabled devices, including 100 million connected cars, will now embed Tata Communications’ technology to create a more unified connectivity framework.
