Tata Investment Corporation Limited on Tuesday announced its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, reporting a marginal decline in consolidated net profit despite higher income during the period.
On a consolidated basis, the company reported a profit after tax attributable to owners of the parent of ₹143.51 crore in Q1 FY27, compared with ₹146.30 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. Total income increased to ₹152.11 crore from ₹146.17 crore in Q1 FY26.
Profit before tax (PBT) rose to ₹181.06 crore during the quarter from ₹167.92 crore a year earlier. Total revenue from operations stood at ₹151.66 crore, compared with ₹145.46 crore in the year-ago period.
The company’s expenses remained relatively low at ₹12.80 crore for the quarter, compared with ₹14.15 crore in Q1 FY26.
Other comprehensive income, largely reflecting changes in the fair valuation of equity investments, stood at ₹4,165.34 crore during the quarter. As a result, total comprehensive income attributable to owners of the parent came in at ₹4,308.85 crore.
Earnings per share (EPS) on a consolidated basis stood at ₹2.84 for the quarter, compared with ₹2.89 in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
On a standalone basis, Tata Investment Corporation reported total income of ₹209.35 crore in Q1 FY27, up from ₹171.17 crore in Q1 FY26. Standalone profit after tax increased to ₹163.89 crore from ₹139.22 crore, while profit before tax rose to ₹197.36 crore from ₹159.62 crore.
