S&S Power Switchgear Limited has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, S&S Power Switchgear Equipment Limited (SSPSE), has received a purchase order from Siemens Energy India Limited for the supply of isolators for the KCC Wagdari package in Maharashtra.
According to the filing, the contract is valued at more than ₹8 crore and relates to the supply of isolators for the Maharashtra-based KCC Wagdari project. The company stated that the order further strengthens its business relationship with Siemens Energy India.
The execution of the contract is scheduled for the next financial year. S&S Power Switchgear said the order has been awarded by a domestic entity and is not classified as a related-party transaction. The company also confirmed that neither its promoters nor promoter group have any interest in the entity awarding the contract.
The company noted that the latest order builds on its existing partnership with Siemens Energy India and will be executed in accordance with the agreed delivery schedule during the next financial year.
The announcement reflects continued order inflow for S&S Power Switchgear’s subsidiary in the power transmission equipment segment, with the company supplying isolators used in electrical substation infrastructure projects.
