Avantel Limited has secured a rate contract valued at ₹459.90 crore for the supply of satellite communication equipment, marking a significant addition to its order book. The contract has been awarded by Zetwerk Manufacturing Businesses Limited and includes both equipment supply and long-term maintenance services.
As part of the agreement, Avantel will provide satellite communication systems along with a comprehensive support package. The contract includes a one year onsite warranty followed by five years of Annual Maintenance Contract support, ensuring sustained service engagement beyond the initial delivery phase.
The order has been categorized as a domestic contract and falls under manufacturing and maintenance services. The company has indicated that the execution period for the contract is three years, during which deliveries and services are expected to be carried out in phases under the rate contract structure.
Avantel also confirmed that there is no involvement of promoter or promoter group entities in the awarding company, and the transaction does not qualify as a related party deal. The contract has been executed on an arm’s length basis in line with regulatory requirements.
