BEML Limited has secured an additional order worth approximately ₹180.60 crore from Integral Coach Factory (ICF) for the manufacturing and supply of Vande Bharat Sleeper trainsets. The company disclosed the order through a regulatory filing dated September 2, 2026.
The order has been awarded to BEML for the manufacturing and supply of Vande Bharat Sleeper trainsets, adding to the company’s ongoing participation in India’s next-generation railway passenger train programme.
According to the company’s filing, the order has been received from Integral Coach Factory, a major railway coach manufacturing facility under Indian Railways. BEML stated that the order is part of its normal course of business.
The latest contract strengthens BEML’s presence in the railway and metro segment, where the company manufactures and supplies specialised rail vehicles and related equipment. The Vande Bharat Sleeper trains are being developed to cater to long-distance passenger travel with modern features and improved onboard amenities.
