GPT Infraprojects Limited has been declared L1 (First Lowest) for a railway infrastructure order valued at ₹483.7 crore, including GST. The order value comprises ₹410 crore plus applicable GST.
The order has been awarded by Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) and involves the construction of Important Bridge 544, a 32×65.84-metre open web steel girder bridge over the Mahanadi River.
The bridge will be constructed at Chainage 406305 metres as part of the development of the third and fourth railway lines between the Nergundi-Barang section under the Khurda Road Division of East Coast Railway.
According to the company disclosure, the total contract size is ₹483.7 crore including GST, while the contract value before GST stands at ₹410 crore.
The L1 status indicates that GPT Infraprojects has emerged as the first lowest bidder for the project. The company disclosed the development under the applicable SEBI listing regulations.
The project strengthens GPT Infraprojects’ presence in railway infrastructure and bridge construction, with the contract focused on a major railway bridge associated with the expansion of rail lines in Odisha.
