Marine Electricals (India) Limited has announced the receipt of new orders worth approximately Rs 76.38 crore, excluding taxes, according to a regulatory filing submitted to the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
The company disclosed that the orders relate to the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of power distribution systems for customers across different sectors.
One of the contracts has been awarded by STT Global Data Centres India Private Limited. The scope of work includes the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of power distribution systems. Marine Electricals stated that the execution and delivery of the project are expected to be completed within 12 to 18 months.
In addition, the company has secured an order from Deepak Chem Tech Limited for the supply of power distribution systems. The delivery timeline for this order is also estimated at 12 to 18 months.
In its filing, Marine Electricals clarified that none of the promoters or promoter group entities have any interest in these contracts. The company further stated that the agreements do not fall under the ambit of related-party transactions.
The latest order wins are expected to strengthen Marine Electricals’ order book and reinforce its presence in the power distribution solutions segment, particularly in industries such as data centres and specialty chemicals.
