Oswal Pumps Limited has received an order from the Telangana Renewable Energy Development Corporation Limited (TGREDCO) for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of rooftop solar power plants across 9,937 government schools in Telangana.
According to the company’s regulatory filing, the project covers an aggregate capacity of 46,705 kW or 46.7 MW. The solar installations will comprise 2 kW, 5 kW and 10 kW on-grid rooftop photovoltaic systems for government schools spread across 33 districts of Telangana.
Oswal Pumps Telangana Solar Project Details
The project involves the deployment of Mono PERC/TOPCON solar modules along with normal structures. Oswal Pumps will also undertake the installation and commissioning of the systems and provide comprehensive maintenance services for five years.
The company stated that the project is expected to support the adoption of renewable energy infrastructure across educational institutions in Telangana.
The regulatory filing states that the installation is expected to be completed within 180 days from the date of receipt of the work order.

The company’s press release stated that the total quoted value of the project is ₹273.19 crore, excluding GST.

Oswal Pumps Expands Telangana Presence
Oswal Pumps said the order represents its first major order from Telangana and is expected to expand its presence in the state’s renewable energy market.
The company said the project would involve the development of 46.7 MW of rooftop solar capacity across government schools and would require execution across multiple locations.
Oswal Pumps Chairman and Managing Director Vivek Gupta said the company had been selected as the successful bidder for the programme and that the project would involve a focus on execution, timely delivery and long-term performance.
