RITES Limited has secured a major domestic order worth approximately ₹175.41 crore (excluding GST) from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU) for providing Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services related to campus infrastructure development.
According to the company’s regulatory filing dated June 30, 2026, the contract involves planning, design, and development of infrastructure facilities along with other related works across the BBAU campus. The project will be executed on a Cost Plus PMC Fee basis.
The order has been awarded by Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, a domestic entity. RITES stated that the execution period is 30 months for the initial work or until completion of the allotted work, whichever is later, from the date of signing the agreement.
The total project cost is approximately ₹175.41 crore, excluding GST, including RITES’ fees. The company also clarified that neither its promoters nor promoter group companies have any interest in the awarding entity. Additionally, the contract does not qualify as a related party transaction.
The order strengthens RITES’ project management consultancy portfolio in the infrastructure sector, particularly in the education segment, where the company provides planning, engineering, and project execution support for institutional infrastructure projects.
