Motilal Oswal Asset Management Company (MOAMC) has announced that its total Assets Under Management (AUM) across mutual funds, alternative investment funds (AIFs), and portfolio management services (PMS) has surpassed ₹2 lakh crore as of August 7, 2026. The milestone highlights the firm’s continued growth and its focus on a disciplined, long-term investment strategy.

The company attributes its expansion to its Quality, Growth, Longevity and Price (QGLP) investment philosophy, which emphasizes high-growth, earnings-focused portfolios supported by strong risk management practices. The achievement further strengthens MOAMC’s position as an equity-focused asset manager in India.

MOAMC operates a diversified investment platform spanning mutual funds, PMS, and AIFs. Its approach integrates active and passive investment strategies while catering to a broad range of investor profiles.

Managing Director and CEO Prateek Agrawal stated that crossing the ₹2 lakh crore AUM mark reflects the trust of investors and stakeholders. He noted that the company remains focused on delivering investment solutions aligned with investor needs and supporting long-term financial goals.

During FY2026, the company expanded its product portfolio by launching 18 passive mutual funds and five active funds. It also strengthened its passive investment offerings across Indian equities, international equities, factor-based strategies, sectoral funds, commodities, multi-asset solutions, and debt instruments.

The company reported a strong investor base, with approximately 56.08 lakh systematic investment plans (SIPs) active during FY2026. It also recorded an all-time high SIP inflow of ₹16,479 crore, supported by increased retail participation and consistent investment behavior.

Industry trends remain favorable, with continued growth in SIP adoption, rising financial awareness, and increasing digital penetration. MOAMC indicated that expanding investor participation beyond major cities and sustained inflows from domestic investors are expected to support long-term growth in the mutual fund industry.

The company added that institutional investors are likely to play a key role in driving future expansion. With a diversified investment platform and disciplined investment philosophy, MOAMC aims to capitalize on structural opportunities in the financial markets and deliver long-term value to investors.
