Choice Consultancy Services Pvt Ltd (Choice), a leading consulting firm and subsidiary of Choice International Ltd, is announced the acquisition of a project for developing a solar plant for Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd through a Joint Venture partnership with Solar91 Cleantech Pvt Ltd.

In this project, Choice and Solar91 will serve as key advisors, undertaking various tasks such as detailed site surveys, supervision of design, supply, and installation of the solar power plant. They will also oversee the installation of associated 33kV or 11kV lines, conduct testing and commissioning activities, and manage the construction of control rooms. The project is expected to involve a capex outflow of Rs. 152 crores.

This project underscores Jodhpur Discom’s commitment to sustainable energy and rural electrification, aligning with the PM-Kusum Yojana – Component C 2, aimed at providing affordable electricity to farmers. The initiative involves setting up a 34.72 MW (AC) solar plant within a 12-month implementation period, with a 25-year operation and maintenance period.

Through strategic efforts, Choice Group aims to ensure efficient execution, delivering significant benefits to the communities served. The estimated revenue of the project is Rs 520 Crores during the overall project tenure.
