JSW Neo Energy, a fully owned subsidiary of JSW Energy Limited , has entered into a renewable energy power purchase agreement with Amazon for 180 MW of wind power. As a result of this agreement, the Company’s committed RE Commercial and Industrial (C&I) capacity now totals 4.0 GW. This includes 2.7 GW from JSW group’s captive capacity and 1.3 GW from third-party C&I capacity, which also encompasses capacity to be acquired from O2 Power.

The Company’s C&I portfolio features key clients such as Amazon, DCM Shriram Ltd, and Indus Towers Ltd., highlighting the Company’s dedication to providing sustainable energy solutions.

At present, the Company operates 8.2 GW of generation capacity across thermal, hydro, and RE sectors, with a total committed generation capacity of 30 GW. Additionally, it has secured 16.3 GWh of energy storage capacity through battery energy storage systems and hydro pumped storage projects. The Company is on track to achieve 20 GW of generation capacity and 40 GWh of energy storage capacity well ahead of its 2030 target.
