The project will involve the installation of 266 of Suzlon’s S144 wind turbine generators (3.15 MW each) across three Indian states. The turbines will be deployed in Karnataka (302 MW), Maharashtra (271 MW), and Tamil Nadu (265 MW), supporting TPREL’s clean power expansion and ensuring grid-stable renewable energy delivery.

This marks the third order from Tata Power Renewable Energy to Suzlon, reflecting a partnership that spans more than a decade. The collaboration underscores the two companies’ shared commitment to achieving India’s long-term energy goals through cost-efficient and reliable clean power solutions.

Commenting on the deal, Girish Tanti, Vice Chairman of Suzlon Group, said that Suzlon is proud to support TPREL’s vision of achieving 100% clean power by 2045 with advanced “Made in India” technology.
