Hyderabad, September 26, 2025 – MosChip Technologies Limited, India’s first fabless semiconductor company, reported strong financial results for FY25 at its 26th Annual General Meeting. The company announced that revenue from operations increased by 58.5% year-on-year, rising from ₹294 crore in FY24 to ₹466 crore in FY25. Profit before tax also recorded significant growth, reaching ₹33.7 crore compared to ₹11.33 crore in the previous fiscal year. The performance was supported by new customer acquisitions, business diversification, and increased investments in research and development.

The company added seven new customers during FY25 and strengthened its leadership team across engineering, operations, and business development. Over the past four years, MosChip has demonstrated consistent growth, with revenues steadily expanding through its semiconductor, embedded systems, and software engineering businesses.

The Semiconductor Business Unit delivered a solid performance, executing more than 50 ASIC tape-outs across multiple foundries. It continued to maintain strong relationships with leading global semiconductor companies while successfully delivering turnkey silicon for an India-based customer. The unit also advanced its emulation expertise and scaled up IP services, including new IP blocks for smart energy meter integrated circuits.

The Software, System Design and Product Engineering division achieved notable milestones, winning Qualcomm’s “Partner Par Excellence Award” for the second consecutive year. The division expanded its focus on digital engineering, with investments in artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile applications, and cloud solutions beginning to yield results. MosChip also supported projects across IoT, automotive, communications, audio-video systems, and home automation, strengthening its capabilities in embedded software and FPGA solutions.

On the innovation front, MosChip reported progress on two key indigenous initiatives. The company’s Smart Energy Meter IC, developed under the government’s Design Linked Incentive (DLI) scheme, successfully validated test chips for multiple IPs, including power management and temperature sensing. The high-performance computing processor “AUM,” developed for C-DAC, also advanced steadily, underlining MosChip’s contribution to India’s semiconductor self-reliance roadmap.

The company received multiple industry recognitions during FY25, including being ranked among the Financial Times High-Growth Companies Asia-Pacific 2025 and LinkedIn’s Top 15 Companies in India 2025. It was also listed in TIME & Statista’s India’s Best Employers 2025 and received the Excellence in Semiconductor Design Award from Electronics Era. In addition, Qualcomm once again honoured MosChip with its Partner Par Excellence Award.

MosChip continued to strengthen its corporate social responsibility initiatives. The company funded the creation of an Open Learning Area at Osmania University, participated in the nationwide technical symposium Aakruthi 2025, and collaborated with ISRO for the “Space on Wheels” initiative. Expanding its operational footprint, MosChip inaugurated a new office in Pune, reflecting its commitment to growth and innovation.

Looking ahead, MosChip outlined its strategy to invest further in R&D, application-specific standard products (ASSPs), turnkey ASIC solutions, and digital engineering. The company also identified opportunities in sectors such as electric vehicles, automotive electronics, IoT, 5G/6G, and AI-driven applications. With a combination of organic growth and potential acquisitions, MosChip stated that it is well-positioned to deliver value to global customers while contributing to India’s vision of becoming a hub for semiconductor innovation.
