Navitas Semiconductor Corporation and Cyient Semiconductors have announced a long-term strategic partnership aimed at boosting the adoption of gallium nitride (GaN) technology across India’s rapidly expanding high-power sectors. The collaboration targets applications such as AI data centers, electric mobility, industrial electrification and energy grid systems.

As part of the partnership, both companies plan to co-develop GaN-based products, digital and mixed-signal integrated circuits, and system-level modules tailored for India’s high-voltage and high-power market requirements. The initiative includes building a complete GaN ecosystem supported by a strong domestic manufacturing and supply chain network.

The collaboration also aligns with national priorities under the Make in India program. By enabling locally sourced components and design capabilities, the partnership aims to shorten development cycles and improve access for Indian OEMs and design houses.

Company leaders highlighted that combining Navitas’ proven GaN technologies with Cyient Semiconductors’ design and manufacturing strengths can significantly accelerate market readiness and innovation.
