Full Article: Inox Wind Limited (IWL), one of India’s leading wind energy solutions providers, has secured a significant 51 MW order from First Energy Private Limited (FEPL), a Thermax Group company. This is the first-ever order from FEPL to Inox Wind and will contribute to a wind energy project currently under development in Tamil Nadu.
As part of the order, Inox Wind will supply its advanced 3 MW wind turbines. These turbines feature a hub height of 140 meters and a rotor diameter of 145 meters, designed to deliver high efficiency. The turbines will be installed through FEPL’s special purpose vehicle (SPV), First Energy 10 Private Limited.
The contract includes a limited scope of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services such as project supervision. It also includes a multi-year operations and maintenance (O&M) agreement, which will be handled by subsidiaries of Inox Wind after the turbines are commissioned.
