Genesys International, a leading player in mapping technology, has secured two significant awards from NEOM Ltd and the Saudi Geological Survey Authority, collectively valued at Rs 35 crores. These projects highlight the growing role of geospatial technology in Saudi Arabia’s infrastructure development.
NEOM, a 26,500 square kilometer urban project, will see Genesys work with its Land Affairs Compliance and Enforcement division to ensure accurate mapping and land use compliance across areas like Oxagon and The Line. Meanwhile, the Saudi Geological Survey project focuses on developing a Spatial Information System to manage geological risks in the Makkah and Riyadh regions.
Mr. Sajid Malik, Chairman and Managing Director of Genesys, emphasized the importance of geospatial technology in NEOM’s vision and the company’s role in enhancing safety and efficiency. He noted that their advanced tools and expertise will play a crucial part in these transformative projects, reinforcing India’s presence in the global geospatial landscape.
