Gensol Engineering Limited, a key player in renewable energy specializing in solar EPC and electric mobility, has teamed up with Matrix Gas & Renewables Ltd., a growing green hydrogen infrastructure developer.

The consortium has emerged as the lowest bidder for the EPC contract to develop India’s first Bio-Hydrogen project. This landmark initiative will convert 25 tons of bio-waste into 1 ton of hydrogen per day and is valued at INR 164 Crore. Set to be completed in 18 months, the project aligns with the National Green Hydrogen Mission.

The company has partnered with Westinghouse USA to develop a 25 TPD bio-waste processing plant that will produce 1 TPD of Green Hydrogen using GH2-PREGS technology. Anmol Singh Jaggi of Gensol Engineering Ltd. expressed pride in being the lowest bidder for India’s first biomass-to-green hydrogen project, emphasizing their commitment to innovation and quality.

Chirag Kotecha of Matrix Gas & Renewables Ltd. highlighted the project’s role in advancing India’s energy transition. Gensol and Matrix will continue to collaborate on Green Hydrogen and related technologies.
