Hero MotoCorp, the leading global manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, has launched its operations in the Philippines. This move represents a major step in the company’s strategy to enhance its international footprint.

Terrafirma Motors Corporation (TMC), a member of the Columbian Group of Companies and a prominent automotive leader in the Philippines, will act as the exclusive assembler and distributor for Hero MotoCorp’s products and services. This partnership was officially announced in October 2022.

A cutting-edge assembly plant and parts warehouse has been established at Terrafirma Motors Corporation in Laguna, Philippines. Covering over 6,000 square meters, the facility has an annual production capacity exceeding 150,000 units.

This new assembly facility will manufacture Hero MotoCorp’s top-selling and internationally recognized motorcycles, including the Xpulse 200 4V, Hunk 160R 4V, and Xoom 110 scooter.

Retail operations have also begun, with the Xpulse 200 4V available at an attractive on-road price of PHP 140,000, the Hunk 160R 4V priced at PHP 99,900, and the Xoom 110 offered at PHP 69,900. Each model comes with a warranty of 2 years or 24,000 kilometers.

The partners have set up an extensive retail network featuring over 350 customer touchpoints for sales, service, and spare parts. They plan to significantly expand this network by the end of the year.
