JSW Renew Energy Thirteen Limited, a subsidiary of JSW Energy Limited, has entered into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with NTPC Limited for 700 MW of solar capacity connected to the ISTS/STU. This PPA, which has a duration of 25 years and a tariff of ₹2.59/KWh, is expected to be commissioned by June 2026.

Currently, JSW Energy’s solar pipeline capacity stands at 3.2 GW, with PPAs signed for 2.0 GW. The company has a total locked-in generation capacity of 18.2 GW, including 7.7 GW operational, 2.1 GW under construction across wind, thermal, and hydro, and a renewable energy pipeline of 8.3 GW. Additionally, JSW Energy has secured 16.2 GWh of energy storage capacity through battery energy storage systems and hydro pumped storage projects.

The company aims to achieve 20 GW of generation capacity and 40 GWh of energy storage capacity by 2030, with a commitment to reach Carbon Neutrality by 2050.
