JSW Neo Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of JSW Energy Limited, has been awarded a Letter of Award (LoA) for a 200 MW Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Project by Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) through a tariff-based competitive bid (MSEDCL – Phase III).

This award raises the company’s total locked-in generation capacity to 17.2 GW, including 2.9 GW in hybrid capacity. JSW Energy aims to reach 10 GW of installed capacity by FY25, up from the current 7.5 GW. The project will bolster the company’s energy solutions and support its transition to becoming a comprehensive energy products and services provider.

JSW Energy’s total locked-in capacity includes 7.5 GW operational, 2.3 GW under construction, and a 7.3 GW renewable energy pipeline (with 2.3 GW in PPAs). Additionally, the company has 4.2 GWh of locked-in energy storage through battery systems and hydro pumped storage. It targets 20 GW of generation capacity and 40 GWh of energy storage by 2030, with a goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.
