The Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade, under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, has granted an industrial license to Paras Defence and Space Technologies Limited.
This license permits the establishment of an industrial facility for manufacturing a range of advanced defense and space technologies.
The items to be produced include infrared or thermal imaging equipment (such as monoculars, binoculars, cameras, sights, cooled and uncooled cameras, and II tube-based sights), electro-optics systems (including day and night vision devices and security surveillance systems), radar system sub-systems and platforms, modules and control assemblies (such as sub-systems for cameras, opto-mechanical, and opto-electronic assemblies), border security surveillance systems (featuring infrared and thermal imaging devices, cameras, and sights), laser range finders, and integrated platform advanced computer-based control and monitoring systems.
The manufacturing facility will be situated at D-112, TTC Industrial Area, MIDC Nerul, Behind London Pilsner, Shiravane, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra – 400706.
The industrial license granted to Paras Defence and Space Technologies Limited is valid for a period of 15 years.
