Park Medi World Limited has completed the acquisition of Krishna Super-speciality Hospital in Bathinda, Punjab, marking a strategic expansion of its hospital network in North India. The transaction involves the purchase of the entire shareholding of the hospital from its existing promoters through an all-cash deal valued at ₹40 crore.
Krishna Super-speciality Hospital is a 250-bed multi-speciality healthcare facility, including 70 intensive care unit beds, modular operation theatres, and automated diagnostic laboratories. Strategically located in Bathinda, the hospital serves as a key healthcare centre for both urban and rural populations across the region. The facility provides medical services across multiple super-specialities such as cardiology, neurosciences, oncology, orthopaedics, critical care, and emergency services.
Park Medi World had been managing the operations of the Bathinda hospital since July 2025 before proceeding with the full acquisition. With this addition, the Park Group strengthens its hospital capacity and infrastructure across North India. The acquisition aligns with the company’s long-term growth strategy, which targets a total operational capacity of 5,260 beds by March 2028 through a mix of acquisitions and greenfield expansions.
The acquisition does not fall under related party transactions, and no regulatory approvals were required for completion. The transaction was finalised on January 5, 2026, further reinforcing Park Medi World’s position among the leading hospital chains in North India.
