Surana Telecom and Power Limited has been awarded a Letter of Award (LOA) for the development of solar photovoltaic power generating stations with a total capacity of 54 MW (AC) under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0. This initiative, part of the PM-KUSUM Scheme, aims to implement feeder-level solarization and is being facilitated by the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd (MSEDCL), a government undertaking.
The project, located in Maharashtra, includes a tariff of INR 3.09 per kWh, along with a subsidy of INR 1.05 crore per MW. The project must be commissioned within 18 months from the LOA, with a contract period of 25 years from the date of commissioning. MSEDCL will procure the generated power under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0. The total order size is 54 MW (AC), with an estimated project cost of INR 190 crores.
