Suzuki Motor Corporation and Tata Elxsi have inaugurated the ‘SUZUKI-TATA ELXSI Offshore Development Center’ in Pune, India. The new center will support Suzuki’s innovation in advanced engineering, with a focus on sustainable mobility, lightweight design, safety, and eco-friendly materials. Tata Elxsi will also help accelerate Suzuki’s efforts in next-gen powertrains, software-defined vehicles, and energy-efficient solutions for electric and hybrid vehicles.
Suzuki’s Chief Technology Officer, Katsuhiro Kato, highlighted the center as essential to Suzuki’s strategy for advancing connected, autonomous, shared, and electric technologies. He noted that Tata Elxsi’s expertise in digital design and simulation is key to bringing innovative solutions to market.
Tata Elxsi’s MD & CEO, Manoj Raghavan, emphasized that the partnership reflects their shared vision for the future of mobility, with Tata Elxsi’s digital-first approach playing a critical role in supporting Suzuki’s sustainability and engineering goals.
