Tata Communications has announced a significant upgrade to its AI cloud infrastructure in India, utilizing NVIDIA Hopper GPUs. This collaboration marks a key advancement in the country’s AI landscape, enabling AI applications across sectors such as manufacturing, healthcare, retail, and banking.
The upgrade will incorporate advanced NVIDIA software solutions, including NIM microservices and the Omniverse platform, offering businesses a comprehensive suite of tools for AI-driven simulation and automation. The first phase of Hopper GPU deployment is set to begin by the end of this year, positioning Tata Communications among India’s largest cloud-based supercomputers, with a second phase planned for 2025.
Additionally, Tata Communications will launch an AI studio that provides tools for businesses to effectively manage and utilize AI, including features for data curation and real-time model deployment.
