Wipro Limited has announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire 100 percent shareholding in Mindspirit Pte Ltd and its subsidiaries. The acquisition, disclosed through a regulatory filing, is aligned with the company’s strategy to enhance its consulting-led and artificial intelligence-powered transformation capabilities.
The transaction is valued at $375 million and will be carried out through a cash consideration, subject to customary closing adjustments. According to the filing, the acquisition is expected to be completed by June 30, 2026, subject to obtaining necessary regulatory approvals in jurisdictions including Saudi Arabia and Australia.
The acquisition is strategically linked to Wipro’s recently secured multi-year transformation engagement with Olam Group, a Singapore-based global food and agri-business company. The eight-year contract is expected to exceed $1 billion in total value, with a committed spend of approximately $800 million. As part of this engagement, Wipro will deliver end-to-end transformation services using a consulting-led and AI-powered approach.
