ESPOO, Finland : HCLTech, a renowned global technology firm, has announced its selection by Oriola Corporation, a prominent health and wellness company operating in the Nordic region, to expedite Oriola’s digital transformation and elevate customer experiences.

The collaboration involves HCLTech implementing a new SAP S/4HANA and analytics infrastructure hosted on Microsoft Azure to revolutionize Oriola’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) and enterprise warehouse management (EWM) systems in Sweden and Finland. Leveraging RISE with SAP, the solution aims to provide Oriola with a comprehensive, globally compliant, and validated platform. Transitioning to an agile, cloud-based ERP platform is expected to streamline and modernize Oriola’s business operations, optimizing IT costs in the process.

Mikael Nurmi, Oriola’s Chief Digital Officer, emphasized the significance of this initiative, noting its potential to enhance responsiveness to customer and business needs, foster collaboration, improve transparency, and facilitate cross-market operations. The unified system is expected to bolster processes and provide access to shared data, thereby enhancing customer service.

Pankaj Tagra, Corporate Vice President for Europe and Africa at HCLTech, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership with SAP and highlighted HCLTech’s commitment to supporting Oriola’s transformation journey. He also underscored the company’s ambition to bolster Oriola’s position in pharmaceutical distribution and advisory services, while expanding its presence in the Nordic region and the global life sciences and pharmaceutical sector.
