In a significant move for sustainable energy in India, IndianOil, known as the “Energy of Indja,” has partnered with EverEnviro Resource Management Pvt. Ltd., a leading biofuels company, to form a 50:50 joint venture. This collaboration aims to promote biofuel adoption nationwide.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Santanu Gupta from IndianOil and Mr. Mahesh Girdhar from EverEnviro, with key officials from both companies present.

The joint venture will focus on utilizing advanced biogas technologies to convert organic waste into Compressed Biogas (CBG), a cleaner energy source that reduces greenhouse gas emissions and provides an alternative to fossil fuels. This initiative supports IndianOil’s strategy for achieving operational Net Zero by 2046 and contributes to India’s Net-Zero target by 2070. CBG also enhances energy security and boosts the rural economy by creating local jobs.
