Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has expanded its collaboration with Bank of Baroda to advance financial inclusion across India over the next five years. The extended partnership will involve deploying TCS’s Financial Inclusion Gateway Solution, which can handle up to 1.2 million transactions daily, supporting over 55,000 agents and benefiting more than 60 million customers in underserved areas.
The solution will enable key banking services such as account openings, IMPS and NEFT transfers, as well as facilitating Aadhaar and debit card-based transactions. It will also support enrollment into government insurance and pension schemes like PMJJBY, PMSBY, and APY. This initiative is in line with India’s vision of inclusive growth, aligning with the government’s financial inclusion efforts.
TCS has been a trusted technology partner for Bank of Baroda since 2010, helping the bank enhance its digital infrastructure and build a robust financial inclusion ecosystem. This marks the fourth extension in their nearly 15-year partnership.
