Full Article: Invenia-STL Networks Limited, a digital infrastructure and IT services company, has announced the award of a data center infrastructure contract valued at approximately ₹359 crore from PowerGrid Teleservices Limited (PowerTel), a subsidiary of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL).

The project involves the design, construction, commissioning, and maintenance of a Tier III data center at PowerGrid’s Manesar facility. As part of the agreement, Invenia will also establish a Disaster Recovery Data Centre (DRDC) and provide a scalable Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) platform with integrated disaster recovery solutions. The scope includes comprehensive operations and maintenance services to ensure sustained performance and reliability.

According to the company, the initiative is aligned with India’s digital transformation and sustainability goals. The planned data centers will incorporate energy-efficient and advanced cooling systems, aiming to balance operational resilience with environmental commitments.

Pankaj Malik, Chief Executive Officer of Invenia, stated that the collaboration with PowerTel is designed to address both current and future requirements in cloud and disaster recovery services.
