India-headquartered Cyient Limited has strengthened its Middle East presence by launching dedicated regional operations alongside the strategic acquisition of Abu Dhabi & Gulf Computer Est. (ADGCE). The expansion aims to enhance the company’s ability to deliver intelligent engineering, digital transformation, and sustainability-focused solutions across sectors such as Energy, Utilities, Transportation and Connectivity.

The Middle East is rapidly advancing smart infrastructure, digitalisation and national transformation agendas, driven by initiatives like Saudi Vision 2030 and UAE Vision 2031. Cyient’s expanded footprint positions the company to collaborate with government bodies, utilities, transport networks, telecom operators and private enterprises seeking modern, resilient and efficient engineering solutions.

With the addition of ADGCE, Cyient enhances its capabilities in technology consulting, IoT-enabled solutions, digital transformation programs, field engineering services and data-driven asset management. The region’s energy sector alone is expected to attract USD 200+ billion in investments, creating strong opportunities for the company’s intelligent engineering and sustainability offerings.

Cyient is also investing in localisation, talent development and regional partnerships to align with evolving customer needs and regulatory expectations. Its semiconductor division and Cyient DLM business plan to bring mission-critical electronic manufacturing, chip design support and advanced product engineering expertise to customers in aerospace, defence, industrial, medical and automotive sectors.

Company leadership emphasises that the expansion reinforces Cyient’s long-term commitment to supporting the Middle East’s technological transformation, with a focus on next-generation infrastructure, sustainability, smart cities and digital modernisation.
