DEE Development Engineers Limited has secured its first-ever contracts for the supply of alloy steel seamless pipes, marking a significant operational milestone for the company as it expands manufacturing capabilities in the high-value piping segment.
The contracts, valued at approximately ₹58 crore, have been awarded by a domestic entity that is a joint venture between an Indian and a foreign conglomerate operating in the power sector. The customer’s identity has not been disclosed due to commercial confidentiality.
The orders will be executed from the company’s newly commissioned forged seamless pipe manufacturing facility located in Anjar, Gujarat. The project represents the commercial rollout of the plant and signals DEE Development Engineers’ entry into the seamless pipe manufacturing segment, which is widely used in power, energy, and industrial infrastructure applications.
According to the company’s regulatory disclosure, the contracts involve the manufacturing of alloy steel seamless pipes and are scheduled for completion by December 2026. The orders are domestic in nature and are expected to contribute to capacity utilization at the newly established facility during its initial phase of operations.
