RNIT AI Solutions Limited has received multiple work orders from Telangana Technology Services Limited (TGTS), a Government of Telangana undertaking, for the implementation and maintenance of AI-based facial recognition attendance management systems across the state.
The awarded projects involve deploying AI-powered attendance systems across various government education departments in Telangana. These include the State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), ITI institutions, and the Collegiate Education Department. The initiative is part of the state’s broader push toward strengthening e-governance and improving administrative efficiency through digital technologies.
According to the company, the deployment will cover approximately 10,00,000 users across Telangana, indicating a large-scale implementation across multiple institutions. The systems are expected to enhance attendance tracking, transparency, and operational monitoring within the education ecosystem.
The contracts are structured for a duration of three years, including both implementation and maintenance phases. The projects will be executed under a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model with transaction-based pricing, where billing will be linked to usage. Payments will be processed on a monthly basis, subject to invoice-based mechanisms and performance conditions aligned with service-level agreements.
The company noted that these contracts are domestic in nature and do not involve any related party transactions or promoter group interest. The development also marks RNIT AI Solutions’ expansion into another state within the government-led e-governance segment.
With increasing adoption of artificial intelligence in public sector operations, such projects could strengthen RNIT AI Solutions’ position in the government technology space while providing visibility for recurring revenue through its SaaS-based delivery model.
