E2E Rail Secures L1 Position for ₹48.79 Crore Eastern Railway Signalling and Telecom Project

E To E Transportation Infrastructure Limited (E2E Rail) has been declared the lowest bidder (L1) by Eastern Railway’s Malda Division for a railway signalling and telecommunication project valued at approximately ₹48.79 crore, according to a regulatory filing submitted to the NSE Emerge platform.

The contract involves the provision of Electronic Interlocking (EI) Systems in accordance with RDSO/SPN/192/2019 specifications and the latest amendments. The project is linked to the development of new crossing stations across multiple locations in the Malda Division of Eastern Railway.

Under the scope of work, E2E Rail will execute signalling and telecommunication works at Gangwara (GGWA) station in the Hansdiha–Prayahat section, Panjwara (PJLE) station in the Barahat–Mandarhill section, Gonudham (GIF) station in the Bhagalpur–Tikani section, and Kurmahat (KUMT) station in the Hansdiha–Nonihat section.

The company stated that it has received L1 status from Eastern Railway, Malda Division, for the domestic works contract. The project is expected to be executed within 12 months from the date of the Letter of Acceptance (LoA).

According to the filing, the total contract value stands at ₹48,78,39,529.90 (approximately ₹48.79 crore). The company clarified that Eastern Railway, being a government entity under the Ministry of Railways, has no promoter or related-party connection with E2E Rail.

The project forms part of Eastern Railway’s efforts to strengthen rail infrastructure and improve operational efficiency through modern signalling systems. Electronic Interlocking systems are widely used to enhance railway safety by automating route setting and preventing conflicting train movements.

E2E Rail said the order falls within the normal course of its business operations and is expected to contribute to its order book in the railway infrastructure segment.
