Tenders have been invited for the construction of the permanent Legislative Assembly and permanent High Court buildings in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh.

The Legislative Assembly building will consist of a Basement + Ground + 3 floors (B+G+3) and will include earthwork, pile/raft foundations, and an RCC framed structure comprising retaining walls, shear/core walls, slabs, beams, PT slabs & beams, inclined/flared shear walls, and columns. The project will utilize modular/system formwork, reinforcement, and waterproofing while adhering to the GRIHA five-star rating certification. The contract is on a Design-Build (Lumpsum) basis, with an estimated cost of ₹768 crores.

Similarly, the High Court building will feature Basement + Ground + 7 floors (B+G+7) and include extensive civil works such as earthwork, pile/raft foundations, RCC framed structures with retaining walls, shear/core walls, slabs, beams, PT slabs & beams, ridge beams, and inclined columns. The project will also follow GRIHA five-star rating certification requirements and will be executed under a Design-Build (Lumpsum) contract, with an estimated cost of ₹1,048 crores.

Both tenders will remain valid from March 1, 2025, to March 17, 2025. These projects are a major step towards the development of Amaravati as the capital city.
